Unhappy with new foils :-(
Question:
I just got back from the hairdresser where I got a trim and new blonde foils put through. The trim looks like it was a hack, just looks messy and the foils are really bad. I got a 1/2 head but she didn't really do many around the back, mainly on the top and sides. Then on the sides you can see where the actual aluminium foil must have been and where she started with the colour because it has a distinct line, straight across of the new colour and my natural hair, looks so bad! I would complain to the salon but she was the manager so no one further up to complain to. Will the "line" fade? I think it will be a waste of energy complaining to them, unfortunately. I think they will definitely fade. The fastest way to do this is to wash it. I'd sleep on it tonight and then wash it tomorrow and blow dry it and see how you feel about it then. Time is going to be your friend, I think. You'll just have to wait for the colour to fade and the 'hack' to grow out. xx Answer: I simply can't count the dodgy foil jobs I have had since last year I know how you feel it's so annoying as not only does it cost a bunch but can dry hair out as well. The only advice I can give is have a few consults with HD's and let them know how let down & miserable you have felt after having bad jobs done & sorry to say the line will not fade it will grow out & if you get a great foiler they will blend it in for you next time. A wide headband will be your best friend until you get your hair re-done in a few weeks, I truly feel for you that line is the DEVIL Answer: I would definately go back and complain, even if the HD was the manager. That is ridiculous, I have that much re-growth before I get my foils done. Definately go back and demand they do a better job or give you a refund so you can get it fixed elsewhere. Stick to your guns and get it sorted Answer: OMG !! I never noticed the link I just took a look YES go back & complain bitterly that is as bad a 7 weeks regrowth on my hair can't let them get away with that it's robbery & a bad job that can simply be fixed. Answer: I'd complain and try to get a refund or some vouchers for treatments or something. I dont think I'd trust her to fix it Answer: I can't see the pic but if it really is bad go back and complain. They will probably only offer to fix it. I would advise give them the chance to fix it if they stuff it up again take it furthur. Answer: It’s always so much easier to complain when you actually got it done. It doesn't matter if she was the manager; you’re the one paying for her service. I have complained before and it was the manager who did my hair. I believe, although they are not always happy too, they always/or almost always fix the problem to your satisfaction. Answer: I now look at all angles the back of my head include before I leave the salon so they can fix a problem there & than. I hope it's all sorted out now. Answer: its not good, it looks like regrowth already and you only got it done!
