Ive just moved over to Wellington from Sydney and will need to get my roots touched up in about a months time but i can barely find anyone here to do it..
I have had my roots done for years at Grace in Straithfield for $200- $250 but today i had a consul at the only hairdressers i could find online in Welly and they quoted $700!
They were the only ones i could find..
I could travel up as far as Auckland if anyone has any clues
otheriwse i ll have to come home and thats crazy?!

I moved to Aus from Wgtn 4 years ago, and just before I left I got it done at a place in Johnsonville (about a 10 minute drive from Wgtn CBD) Sorry I can't remember the name, but it was right there on the main road.
I thought that a lot more places offer this now, I am sure there should be some salons in the CBD that do it?

I just found the salon by chance, as I used to work in Johnsonville, was walking past it one day, and saw that they did TR. I've just looked up the online yellow pages, and there is only one HD on Johnsonville Rd, called Glo, the number is 478 0006. Now I don't know if it's the same one I went to - I hope it is, my TR turned out really well (though I don't straighten anymore).
If you're looking in the CBD, I'd just ask around some of the salons, though I suspect they may charge quite a lot.

If you dont mind me asking, how long did you straighten for and why did you stop?

I don't mind at all - I actually straightened for years and years (but only TR'd twice). I stopped because I felt the last TR I got (in Brisbane) was quite damaging (more hair loss than normal), and I started to like the look of wavy hair.
