Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
Coverage Medium

Lancome Transparance Foundation
Coverage Very Sheer to Sheer
Price ~$60
Finish Dewy, radiant
Skin Type ALL
Do I like it? I it! My HG and perfect for day time
Tip Use fingers. Coverage is buildable. I use 1 pump normally. To mimic a sheer foundation use 2 pumps. If you prefer a matter finish put a sheer layer of powder on top.
Clinique Superbalanced Compact Foundation SPF25
Coverage Medium to Heavy
Price ~$60
Finish Satin
Skin Type combination to oily
Do I like it? I like if for winter - convinient to use but too heavy for summer
Tip Do not take picture with flash when you have this on - it gives you the most scary ghost face look
Clinique Almost Makeup SPF15
Coverage Sheer

Finish Dewy
Skin Type Best for dry skin
Do I like it? I like the level of coverage but unfortunately feels too oily for me (although it claims to be oil free)
Tip Will not recommend for oily skin. You always need a powder on top.

Answer:
Name: Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich Foundation SPF 15
Shade: Warm Ivory
Coverage: Sheer-medium, buildable
Price: around $70
Type of Finish: Slightly dewy
Recommended Skin Type: Dry
Whether You Like it? I like how moisturising it is on my very dry skin, and I like the finish, but it's a bit too sheer for me. I have a lot of redness in my face and need something with a bit more coverage. It would be gorgeous for someone with dry skin who just wants a light foundation to give them a nice smooth finish.

LIKE IT: Love it. It made my skin so dewy. I was a bit skeptical because it had bad reveiws on MUA but is really good on my skin. My skin looks glowy
Im thinking about buying the Dermalogica Treatment Foundation. A friend uses it and it looks pretty good. Im not sure what colour I would be though and want to buy it off strawberrynet. I was speaking to the beautician about the colours they had, on the phone and I said I am not exactly tanned but Im not pale either, and she said probably a 2g.
Is there any way I could work out what colour I am without going and buying it from the beautician do you think?

Question: I sweat in summer on my top lip and on brows....
I want to try Revlon colourstay does it sweat off???

Answer:

My Skin Type: Oily
Name: Chanel Double Perfection Creme Poudre
Shade: #10 Limpide
Coverage: Medium
Price: $69
Finish: Matte
Recommended skin type: Oily
Opinion: Didn't like this at all, found it did not "sit right" on my skin, fell into pores, eccentuated fine lines and flakies. Tried with primer, without primer still the same result. Exchanged it for the fluide. Not worth the money at all.
Name: Chanel Double Perfection Fluide
Shade: #10 Limpide
Coverage: Sheer-Medium
Price: $69
Finish: Matte
Recommended skin type: Oily Combo
Opinion: Great foundation which gives a fabulous matte yet luminous finish. buildable coverage. Smells a bit weird at first though. Best to apply a section at a time because it "sets" quite quickly.
Name: Revlon Colourstay Natural
Shade: Nude
Coverage: Medium
Price: $35?
Finish: Dewy
Recommended skin type: Normal
Opinion: Far too yellow toned for my skin. Very hard to remove, no oil control at all, need to blot throughout the day.
Name: Revlon Skin Perfecting Makeup
Shade: Naked or Nude
Coverage: Sheer - Medium
Price: $32
Finish: Satin
Recommended skin type: Oily
Opinion: Contains Salycilic Acid to control blemishes, quite drying for this reason. Gives good finish, goes on nicely, Is good for the price. Oily skinned gals should consider this foundation. Shades a bit too yellow based though.
Name: Face Of Australia Powder Perfect Foundation
Shade: Ivory
Coverage: Sheer - Medium
Price: $12
Finish: Matte/Satin
Recommended skin type: Oily/Combo
Opinion: Absolutely fantastic for the price. It is my every day foundation. The shade is perfect for me, but the limited shades may be a downfall for others. I find it gives a fantastic flawless finish and also contains SPF.
Name: Face of Australia Stick Foundation
Shade: Outback Ivory
Coverage: medium
Price: $12
Finish: Dewy
Recommended skin type: Dry-Normal
Opinion: This foundation is very good for the price, btu not if you have oily skin, it just melts off. I needed copious amouts of silk dust to keep this one on. It just doesn't set on my oily skin.

Is there any way I could work out what colour I am without going and buying it from the beautician do you think? I bought it off SN and I did a google search and found some colour charts on other sites that did sell them b/c SN does not really show the colour properly. I read up on the colours and I thing the g is for more yellowy skin tones. I really took a risk b/c I didn't see the colour but it turned out too match my skin perfectly. I got 3g and my skin tone is tanned but am not too dark but with yellow tones. I choose that one b/c Dermalogica also make a toner too blend with the foundation so if it too light you can buy one too darken it and one to lighten the colour if it is dark. I hope that helps if you have any other questions just PM me. Good luck

Answer:
name: stila illuminating liquid foundation 10 watts
coverage: medium (on me at least!)
price: $88...pfft as if I would pay that... $35 US that's better
type of finish: dewy
recommended skin type: all I think?
n whether u like it?: yep, my HG foundation, especially when I team it with my IPF. since I'm so pale and have auburn hair I've always found it hard to find a foundation that's not too dark, orangey or amette, and this is fabulous!
name: stila illuminating powder foundation 10 watts
coverage: medium on me
price: $55 for refills here I think, or $23US
type of finish: dewy
recommended skin type: probably dry to normal
n whether u like it? yep, as said before it's perfect in a combo with the stila IPF ot stila TM. as a gal with skin that can be dry, I never thought I could make a powder foundation work, but this stuff is great! and it doesn't have a matte finish ( I can't do matte!) which is rare for a powder for me anyways!

Answer:
Im using Mac Select SPF in NW15...
I was thinking of trying the Stila Illuminating Liquid, but Im gonna order over the internet.
Has anyone used both who might be able to help me pick a colour? Im pretty fair.
Also, how does the coverage compare between Mac & Stila?

Answer:
Girly Gal - I'm a MAC NC15-20, and Stila 10 Watt. HTHs
