Best Foundation for $60 or under
Question:
Hi Girls, I'm looking for a new, inexpensive ($60 or under) foundation that I can wear everyday. I'd like something with the best coverage possible, nothing really sheer. What foundation do you girls recommend? Would love your opinions! Answer: I love Estee Lauder Double Wear (I know, I know, bring out the broken record), it's medium to full coverage and has amazing staying power but I don't find it mask-like or unnatural. I think it retails for around $63? Clinique Superfit is also pretty good and around the same price too. Why don't you check out the all-in-one foundation sticky - I find it really helpful when looking for a new foundation Answer: The EL Double Wear's $66, I've been trying to scour SNet for it but they only have the darker shades I'm a huge fan of the Clarins True Comfort foundation ($5 but need to get my light shade from SNet. I'm not sure how much the MAC Mineralise Satinfinish retails for her, but it's wonderful also. Answer: I always found Revlon compact foundations to be quite good for under $50 for day to day use as they hide everything quite well and they provide sunscreen too. Answer: I was considering MAC Studio Fix Fluid, but have heard and read it's hard to work with. Double Wear sounds great though, it seems to be a lot of people's HG! Answer: I had a Rimmel one once that I can't remember the exact name of, but it was fab for coverage - and cheap! Rimmel concealer sticks are pretty good too, considering they're like $10 Answer: The best cheap foundation I've found is Loreal Cashmere Perfect (I'm shade 30, Golden Amber) I can't remember how much I think it's $20-$30. Then again everyone has different foundations that suit their skin and looks better on their skin type. I've found that when I only use this foundation on my skin and nothing else it still looks great but it's not always the best match in certain lights which is why I depend on my powders to fix that! Answer: Originally Posted by not my real name I love Estee Lauder Double Wear I second this! I love the coverage and how lasting it is on me. I can wear it all day through to night and it will still cover my skin quite well. A great alternative to this would be Revlon's Colourstay range. Answer: *is thinking of finding Double Wear testers and then being naughty and ordering off Snet* Answer: Originally Posted by futureismetric I was considering MAC Studio Fix Fluid, but have heard and read it's hard to work with. But yes, Ive heard so many raves for double wear... is it ok on a mature skin? My mum loves full coverage foundations but has the problem with it looking dry and cakey and settling into lines Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
