Question:
what primer do you rec?

I got onto Shiseido Mascara Base after my friends recommendation and find it excellent. I've used Lancome, Helena Rubenstein, EL, Loreal but they all just make my lashes droop the second it goes on.
Someone on this forum said the Shiseido didn't work for them so I guess everybody's different.

I tried the shiseido one once and it didnt hold my curl. Im wondering though if it had something to do with me applying the base and then immediately applying a non waterproof mascara over the top. Maybe I needed to let the base dry?

just bumping up- do u have to let shiseido mascara base dry before applying mascara in order for it to hold a curl? How much does it retail for?

Yes I do let the base dry first, usually I just do one eye and by the time I go back to apply mascara it is ready. If memory serves me correct the Shiseido mascara base is around $43.00

yeah, it's difficult to remove, just like any other waterproof mascara. I have to use a cream makeup remover before washing again with a cleanser.
btw I've moved on, I'm now using an Anna Sui volumising mascara I bought from SN, not too happy with it.

Never checked whether its waterproof when I bought it, but I've noticed it only fully comes off with a waterproof mascara remover so I'm guessing it is!
I'll try taking a pic one of these days, have to be when I'm not in a total rush so can't promise when! lol................

Okay here's a pic:
One eye with Shiseido mascara base, after curling with Shu curler.
The other is how my lashes normally look, points straight down and non existant!
