Why am I sick!
Question:
[b:fbbbfefa25] Ok, I haven't been sick in the past 4 years. And today
all of a sudden I just started throwing up for no apparent reason at
all. Strong smells were making me gag really bad. Shampoo, detergent,
lysol, pen ink and even dirt. I know I'm not pregnant b/c im a virgin.
Whats wrong with me. I feel perfectly fine except that i'm tired,
dizzy and nauseous. Does anyone know whats wrong with
me![/b:fbbbfefa25]

Answer:
Hey Amanda, how are you doing? Stress management strategies, such
as exercise, relaxation, biofeedback, and other therapies designed to
help limit discomfort, may also reduce the occurrence and severity of
migraine attacks. However, only an experienced physician can determine
whether headache symptoms represent migraine or some underlying
medical condition that requires further tests. Classic migrain
should occasion no difficulty in diagnosis if appreciation that the
neurologic disorder may occur without headache. Used alone or in
combinations, there are some drugs that can minimize pain, nausea, or
emotional distress caused by the migraine. A person experiencing
nausea should consult a physician if it lasts more than one week, and
if there is a possibility of pregnancy. Experienced physicians can
identify patients who may be at increased risk from migrainous
complications and can provide treatment that reduces such risk.
Best wishes,

Answer:
You could have a viral illness (this should pass on its own). Stress,
nervousness or anxiety can cause these types of symptoms as well. If
you are on any medications, you might be experiencing side effects. If
you are taking vitamins or supplements of any sort, maybe you are
getting too much of a good thing. If your symptoms persist, you need
to see a doctor.
