Can't satisfy me
Question:
I'm in a relationship with a man who just can't satisfy me. Technique, size, everything seems to be wrong. We just can't seem to work it out. He seems to be ok with our sex life. Is there hope for us.
He's really nice and I'm in my mid 40s and have heard menopause will kill my sex drive anyway.
Could I stay in a relationship with an unsatisfying sex life?
Answer:
You love the man and have some hope left or you wouldn't bother wondering. If your relationship is fairly new, then maybe it's just a matter of becoming familiar with one another. You can always work on technique but you can't work on size so (regarding that) I'm not sure you will be any happier than you are right now. I think if you don't try to find some resolultion here, this will always be an issue for you and will cause you underlying unhappiness. Would you be willing to try couples counsiling or sex therapy? if you love him, it would be well worth the time and expense. We all have our certain flaws and those you've talked about sound like they are of the type that can be worked through.
Answer:
Hey Guest, how are you doing?

If you are unsure whether you want a divorce or separation, seek the advice of those closest to you--friends, relatives, priest, minister, rabbi--or the advice of a trained professional or agency. Seek counseling if the emotional issues continue to trouble you.

Reconstructing a marriage can be a time-consuming matter. The best way for you to help your attorney to help you is to prepare a summary of important incidents in the marriage, in chronological order, beginning with the onset of marital problems and continuing to the present time.

: Custody; maintenance and child support; ownership, use and possession of the family home; distribution or property; award of pension interest. There are some cases--custody proceedings and cases where the grounds for divorce themselves might be contested--where it is particularly important to have an accurate history of the marital relationship.

Best wishes,

Prisoner: Look here, doctor! You've already removed my spleen, tonsils, adenoids, and one of my kidneys. I only came to see if you could get me out of this place!

Doctor: I am, bit by bit.
