ok i know this sounds gross...and i am embarassed to even post it but i need to know if its serious or not. some times when i go number two it hurts a little not a lot, in fact sometimes not at all. but when i go there is sometimes a little bit of blood. it used to be all the time for a little while but now it is only once in a while... is it bad?

First of all, go to a doctor just to be safe. He'll probably just ask to give a stool sample. It'll put you at ease when you have conclusive proof you are ok and if you aren't, you'll be able to do something about it. I've never had pain when I've defecated, but a couple of times I've had a reddish stool. Sometimes, a tiny blood vessel will break in your rectum or anus, and it's nothing to worry about.
