Question:
i used this tampon called O.B
and didn't know it had no plastic or cardboard tube. but i was stuck with using it because i was not home.
i stuck the tampon in but i don't think i stuck it all the way in..
so ever since i used that tampon that day i started getting light headed.. but i thought i was okay and thought it was from smoking..
i got home and changed the tampon and used the ones i've been using already..
i felt okay until i peed.
while and after i urinated, my vagina started hurting alot!
and it felt like i had to urinate like every 10 minutes but when i sat down on the toilet only a little urine came out and hurt alot!
my vagina doesn't hurt when i'm just sitting or standing around.. but after i urinate it hurts like crazy!!
maybe i stuck the O.B tampon in the wrong hole.. meaning the peeing hole(?)
and i even thought i had TSS but i don't have the symptoms for it..


what's wrong with me??

I'm sure you didn't insert it into the wrong area - it seems as though you just did not insert it in far enough and it was causing you a lot of discomfort. The dizziness could possibly be from smoking since it decreases circulation but probably is more due to the fact that women often have episodes of dizziness when they menstruate since the blood flow can be greater at times. Or, maybe your blood sugar dropped and you needed food at the time. When you don't insert a tampon properly, or if you are somewhat dry when you remove it, it can pinch you and sometimes cause a slight tear in the skin. This could be the cause of the burning sensation when you went to the bathroom. If it were toxic shock syndrome as you mentioned, you would have experienced some or all of the following: vomiting, diarrhea, and other flu-like symptoms. Rapid heartbeat, rash, restlessness, confusion. Just stick to the brand that you are use to and comfortable with.
