Question:
Has anyone ever had this position used for a prostate exam instead of
just bending over? In other words, feet in the stirrups on your back.
Answer:
Hey scott1965, how are you doing?
If the standard rigid cystoscope
is used, you lie in the lithotomy position. The flexible cystoscope
may be easier to insert than the standard rigid model. It does not
require the lithotomy position for insertion.
