think those along starhill are ok, considering starhill is a major tourist attraction....
if u r into shopping, there will be great!! lotsa hotels for u to choose from, which most of them (espc 3 & 4 stars) are ok....i stayed at Royale Bintang before...kinda nice...can try...plus lotsa shopping complexes there....and near KLCC and times square too

the hotel near the clubbing area. i forgot what name liao. but got hard rock cafe there. outside alot of harleys one. i stay before not bad. quite spacious.

try radius international...now they having promotion... i jus reserved my rooms (premier) ...ha but quite ex. 100/night

i recommend bukit bintang area. Westin KL.
Renessaince is a bit further away but also has promotion now. Quite cheap. Think its RM240.
I think the hardrock area is too rowdy.
