We enquire several travel agency and they quote us around 90 per person for 3 days 2 nite.. weekdays.. We intend to go on 4.5.6 july. thats a mon tues n wed...First world hotel
But i heard if u can travel to malaysia urself u can save quite a bit rite???
One more thing is that... some of us are a few months of 21 yr old... any fool prove way to enter the casino??????

Hmm ......... i am a Genting siao, just came back afew weeks ago. In fact, my brother jio me go genting also on 4 july to 7 july but i am still considering.
Maybe i can try to help u answer some question loh.
Err ........ since u are a 1st timer, it is wise that u book from agency as a package. $90 per person ah, somewhere lah. I think u guys are going to squeeze into a room, right? It is wise that u find another person to make it 4 then it will be 2 person per room. As for me, i book from WTS 4 days 3 night two person is $226 exclude breakfast. Everything is included like to and fro transport which u can can save trouble and hussle because u do not need to change bus and just in case u get lost. Just be reminded that u just need to remember your bus number that's all. Wonder if they gave u free breakfast? Actually, staying at first world hotel is sufficient liao. Althought the hotel machiam hotel 88, so small. Over there at first world hotel have everything, ranging from cinema, food court, restaurant, casino to indoor games. In term of fast food, they have all sort of fast food like MacDonald, Burger King, Pizza and KFC. In Genting, dun ask the cashier for chilli at fast food because all chilli are on the table provided.
As for the casino, make sure u guys wear shirt with a collar. Guys MUST wear shirt with collar, turtle-neck is not allowed. Since u guys are a few months to 21 years old, still can try your luck. Dress more mature ....... dun worry even if u are kanna caught during the spot check at the entrance. Try a few more times and act cool. Usually they won't check BUT kanna caught also like that. Nothing will happen to u all. And always carry your passport with u (Dun leave it in the hotel room) and move around together since u guys are not familiar with the place.

heard from my grandma that the casino there very stict. few mnths awayf frm 21 also cannot. they will check IC.
if lets say you want to save and yet have a safety trip, choose the travel agency. go by yourself can be a hussel if you dont know how.
cuz you gotta take coach frm singapore to KL (4-6hrs) den frm KL to genting(2hrs) den take the cable car (45 mins). its really kind of troublesome as you gotta get the tickets yourself at KL to genting.
and the hotel rates for First World Hotel now is climbing. so, 90 is consider cheap.

Come on lah, why waste $ renting batik shirt? Just wear a shirt with a collar can liao. Better go into casino with someone who had been into the casino before. They should be able to guide u. As for RM10, it is wise not to do that lah. Use my method loh ....... try until u can go in. If they caught u, just say I AM GOING TO BE 21 SOON, CAN LAH, PLS.
Trust me, try a few more times sure can go in one. Si Ka Li, they only check the year leh then u can go in .......... got try means got chance. I wish u good luck.

Ha ha ha ....... maybe funny smell could be due to the cigarette smell. In fact, everywhere u could see people smoking - no restriction and no law. Maybe u can request for non-smoking room during check-in and request for rooms to be allocated together. They have those 2 hotel rooms with an alternative to combine together. In other words, they have additional door in between the two rooms.
If u wanna say funny, i think the first time i took HOT water from the dispenser then got a shock of my life. How come the hot water machiam singapore 7-up and coke sia. Alot of gas and the gas took sometime to dissolve ......... comfirm u will thought something is wrong. BUT so far, i had drank already, no problem lah.
Frankly speaking, everywhere also not "clean" lah. Please do not be bother by those things, as long as u have a clear conscience, why worry? To say the truth, i have heard some stories but the more u know, the more u will be frightened. Maybe u can get some "fu" or something along to ease your mind. Err ......... i would personally suggest that u guys try to stay together where ever u go. When u go back into the hotel room, go in as a pair and go out as a pair.

Hmm ......... because u will tend to feel uneasy as u heard too much rumours abt those things. Therefore it is advisable to move abt in pairs loh. It will at least boost your morale or dan liang abit lah. Can look out for one another. Imagine u were to be alone in the hotel room, u will hu si luan xiang and scare yourself mah.

Thanks for the great info given by u guys.
Although i wouldnt say genting is all that fun. Quite boring actually.
Anywayz. I thought the hotel was ok. Cos i got a deluxe room instead, of a standard rm.
Scary thing was the hotel staff will clean the room even if u nv put the "clean my room now sign"
Got a shock when i saw my room clean up. Lucky nothing was missing.
I managed to sneak into the casino with my gal. Both of us were underage by a few mths. But we managed to go into 1st world casino. Quite easily. Twice we go in, both times nv check.
But my other frens have difficulty getting in. One tried all the casino for 3 days. Never had a chance to sneak in. Poor gal.
Some things there a cheap. Some expensive.
Movie is onli 10RM but the seat is uncomfortable.
Theme Park rates are quite low.
But supper seem to be quite steep.
ordered one medium size prawn cost me 6 RM
Weather there cold. I can close all my window and off my fan. I still feel freaking cold. Sometimes wondering where e air comes from.
Overall the trip is good. Won 150 RM. cos i bet small.
