if go taiwan, not bad.. but gotta go longer, so can explore more places, but 1k i think not enough if u planning for a 1 week trip..

Thailand has everything. The kingdom currencies rates are also attractive. Massage parlours, no worries. Can afford to massage whole day. Shopping Centers no worries, they have thieves markets, import/export centers and the whole of BKK is a shopping paradise, only worries is no energy to walk only.

i find going thailand as graduation trip a bit sians. cos other den its city, the rural area is inaccessible and nth fun...
if go HK can cross to Macau / China by ship...
go taiwan oso not bad, i hadnt been there..
haha.. i know jayce like shopping.. if not hor, going to those beach resorts is a nice getaway for gd frens too.. like langkawi or redang or bintan..
nowadays airline quite cheap.. i tink air tix n accomodation no nid so exp one.. go for budget airlines n hotels can liao.
