of course, Tioman! Cheap, nice place and very relaxing! Going to Bintan is just like staying in Singapore! Everywhere you go, you turn - Singaporean! But again, depends on yourself! I love the clear water, the quietness and the people over there plus the food (simple & delicious)! Tioman, my all time favourite!

I went to JB Bus interchange to take the coach to Mersing, about 20RM per ticket, then speedboat 35RM per person to any village in Tioman! Whole journey from Woodlands custom to Tioman should be less than 4 hours!

both are pretty good IMO.
was in Tioman last weekend and going to bintan next weekend.
For Tioman gotta take a coach for abt 2 hours then an hour and a half of ferry. For Bintan only 45 mins of ferry ride.
So, would prefer Bintan as it is nearer. and the spas there are heavenly.. and cheap too...

advised not to go to Bintan , firstly is freaking exp over there n even their food cost at least SGD10+++ , the only place u can find cheap deals and meals is at OLE OLE - (night market).Water sports wise , its exp but since ya over there jus try it out. Go only if ya wanna relak without worrying overspending. =D cheers !

ya! bintan damn ex! unless you cook yourself like me at the villa the stuffs there kills. OLE OLE is the only place to buy "cheaper" which is more ex then sg's stuffs and a trip there on the bus is $6 . gosh. So I dun recommand bintan .if you wanna go diving or snokelling go tioman. =X
