Answer:

Thailand is famous for street markets,
operate mostly at fri,sat,sun
that's why they call it the weekend markets.
in Haddyai, near the bus terminal there's one. (thurs-sun 6pm-12pm)
pheh-tai. not phat-thai ah, phat-thai is the fried noodle hor. my friend go ask tuk tuk to go phat thai phat thai, tuk tuk say he crazy. haha.
most of the weekend markets in the whole of thailand sell almost everything.
Food: deep fried cockroaches, field mouse, ok normal stuffs like fried oyster, drinks, dimsum.
Pets: squirrels dogs to the endangered panda.
apparels: bra lingeries teeshirt panties even used ones.
furnitures and anything you can find under the sun.
need anymore info?

Its best to ask from ppl who actuali went b4....u cant get those from e bks...i suspect~

Answer:

comparing to bugis of course
ok
let me think ok?
Good
1) prices are much cheaper then bugis village, since bugis village owners most of them take stocks from thailand itself
2) more varieties to choose from, imagine 100-200 stores in haddyai, 1000 or maybe 2000 stores in chatujak weekend market compared to bugis!
3) more busier, more life.
4) more girls to see. hehe.
Disadvantage
1) poor ventilation compared to bugis village
2) hard to communicate in foreign language for tourist
3) some prices not stated

Answer:

Answer:

Answer:

Answer:

yangs bro still the man for bangkok..lolz..maybe ask pucca for street markets at hongkong...
i guess the tour guide book do giv u a little info n some maps for the area...

Answer:

no difference. the stuff u find at bugis and thailand's street markets are almost all fake.
don't expect to find authentic designer labels at these places.. practically impossible.

Answer:

Ladies' Market is the most famous in Hongkong in terms of street market. But honestly, you probably would want to do your shopping at those small shops instead. they sell more trendy stuff and it's relatively cheap as well. the street market sells loads of fake stuff so if that's what you're looking for...

Answer:

i also think so that ladies market have quite alot of stores that sell fake stuff...but if say cheaper, it might not be...cos they see tourist, they might not want to reduce price...
another street in hong kong, Fa Yuen Street..there sells alot of clothes, and i think it cheaper..wholeseller place. Getting more popular nowadays,i suppose..even newspaper also mention it.
