the last time i did 2.4km, i hit 10 minutes spot on in a rainy/wet environment...
question depends on if your legs can support your weight, i remember before army, i was doing like 13 minutes... and i had to stop at times cause my legs were too painful for me to continue...
if your legs CAN support your weight, the tactic changes to how fast you can go without burning up your stamina too fast... and if you spent your stamina wisely enouf such tt you don't have any left when you complete your run...
nehows... it's all up to you, i don't suggest that method of run fast at the start, you're gonna be fast at the end anyhow, or start slow, end fast...
i maintain thru out... as fast as possible without sprinting.. but sprint as far as possible at the last 50m don't go fsat in the last 100m you'll burn out

Answer:

zzzzz

Answer:

how come ur 2.4 run on those place de... but try to maintain ur speed...

Answer:

2.4's simple.. just maintain speed
any way, this is what i do:
first 400m is a 75%-sprint to be the top 5 runners, running being the 1st or 2nd fastest runner if possible.. control breathing in such a way you take 1 breath for every 2 steps. meaning you breathe in for the first left and right steps, then you exhale on the next 2.. after 400m, you maintain your pace why a jog, but with striding steps. this time, slow down your breathing to 1 breath for 3 steps or even 4 steps, you'll feel uncomfortable doing that, but it'll wear off. if you're tired, hands on hips.. swing your shoulders back and front to get your whole body in the momentum of running, so enough stress will be taken off your legs. last 400m, sprint like mad.. and viola! under 10 minutes.
whatever you do, never walk

Answer:

it's in the stamina, will, determination...

Answer:

dun prae prae, we running at pandan reservoir :X

Answer:

after running for like 800m, feel like got chest pain leh. acute pain...is it common? cos i oso haf asthma, so not sure if will constitute to it

Answer:

ya its common..but usually seasonal runners will nt feel the pain over there...

Answer:

Slow and steady wins the race....
remember.... nv sprint.. maybe at first u can jog a little faster.. but later on.. when u feel a little tired.. slow down. but nv stop..
when u are abt 100M near the end.... use all your strength..
