Regarding positions...

Guess i need sum help here regarding various positions in basketball.. I've played bball for 8 yrs, but still dunno all those sucky positions, as in the purpose for each? or requirment? I dunno anyting.. I only know there are Point Guard, Center, Shooting Guard, Power Forward and Small Forward.. Tats wat i learnt while playing NBA live, hahah... Sum1 teach mi plz... Wats a guard and wats a forward etc etc.... Btw, i tink i'm a forward.. Becoz i run alot =.="""

I think point guard = play maker = ball handler = stay outside the 3-pt line!

shooting guard think is shooting quite zun and handling not bad one

Point guard - the one who guard the opponent's ball-controller.
Shooting guard - the one who guard the opponent's shooter.
Power forward - the stronger guy defending at the forward.
Small forward - the smaller guy defending at the forward.
Centre - the one defending at the centre of the court.

Pointguard - Mastermind of Offence. Ball-handler, distribute ball to player in advantages position. A good pointguard should able to read the game and players well, knows 12 types of passes used in 12 different situation, knows the requirements of making a good pass, able to have a good range shoot percentage, speed fast, perfect vision, wide vision.
Shooting guard - Sniper of the team. Long range shooter. A good shooting guard should have very high long range shooting percentage, able to find and hide at open space for shots, able to shake off markers, knows when to support point guard.
Small forward - Skillful Attacker (ro2). Got every patterns and fakes you know. Used skill than speed than strength.
Power forward - Power Attacker (gang1). Used strength than speed than skill. Support centre for offensive rebound.
