I'm not good in swimming also, brushing on that area, the nus one is only 8 laps, so is not tat terrible.

NUS one i think u can chk from their website, 8 laps of swim, 20km of cycle and 5km of run. will be held at sentosa.
in fact there's a run organise by nus too only 10km run, i jus got my bike so cant train in time for nus triath which is on either 13/14 of august.

Did a 850m swim, follow by 15km cycle and 5km run, seriously the thot of giving up during the run is so freaking strong... i wish i could just collapse and die!

FWah, its a whole lot of range to choose from, the brands i'm familiar with are cannondale, scotts usa, trek. Well this are consider quite high end. But i'm sure you can find cheap ones on resale at yahoo auction.
Prices should be ranging from 800 to even ten over thousands.
It really depends on your budget, but a simple one will do to start off with. I got mine for 1600, scotts usa. weighs approx 6.5kg.

actually i hav this wild notion of buying a bike and cycling to work (wit is juz ten mins away) for cardio but mostly to develop my chicken legs...i got this idea from tis ad i saw once for this phone. Da old Sony Ericsson orange one wit da gigantic antenna? Tat guy seemed really cool.

If i were you, i would have done it. Swear. Its the best mean of transport, you might consider a mountain bike instead.
