tink jogging is more effective for overall weight loss... but not good for knees esp for gals... swimming is low impact but harder to lose fats...

jogging does not affect the knee if it is done correctly sometime the injury are cause by the way the person jogs and the worse part is when its starts to hurt the person still carry on than later bye gbye to knee>.< as for swimming its harder to lose fat cause of the water pressure and stuff and you must use almost every part of your muscle to swim, so under long duration of swimming will get tired easily. especially on those muscles that you hardly used in your daily life.Jogging or swimming are both equally good, both have their pros and cons but no matter which one you chose start slow.Coz your body need time to adapt and remember to get sufficient rest to prevent strains.
