Should we have rejoin the Malaysia Cup?

We have to admit the support for S League is no where near the Malaysia Cup.

if we don't, there'll be really no future for s league...

No way. We should not rejoin other country league just for the sake of past golden glory days. We should build our own football foundation here to create more local talents.

I agree too but we have already spent 10 years building the S League, and it's obviously struggling. We all know we want strong foundation and local talents, but look at what FAS is doing? Getting more foreign talents
It's not for the sake of reviving the golden days, it's how our local soccer scene should be like in first place. The turn out for any home games against a Msia state team during the M Cup days should justify that. The support was just tremendous. It was then I can call myself a true Singapore soccer fan.
Also, rejoining Malaysia Cup doesn't mean doing away with the S League completely. If not wrong, there was a local league coinciding with the M Cup, and it's almost like the current S League.
Yes, 好马不吃回头草. It might be pride hurting to rejoin the competition. But I rather 吃回头草 than 吃不了兜着走
