Soccer: Singapore beat Malaysia 8-7 in friendly match

Seremban - Singapore beat Malaysia 8-7 through penalty shootout at the second leg of the Tiger FC Causeway Challenge on Saturday.
The match was held at Malaysia's Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium.
In the first match at the Singapore National Stadium last Wednesday, Malaysia were also beaten 4-5 through penalty shootout.
On Saturday, Malaysian players, which were in control of the first half wasted lots of scoring chances.
National striker Indera Putra Mahayuddin and Mohd Sali seemed to be ineffective, with several of their attempts either off the mark or saved by Singaporean goalkeeper Lionel Lewis.
The second half also failed to see any goal.
