Singapore 2-0 Iraq
Question:
woohoo!!! just got back from the national stadium where the lions beat iraq 2-0. first from a free kick near the edge of the penalty area, the second a sweet strike just outside the six-yard box following a layoff from indra sahdan. unfortunately i'm not 100% sure on who scored the goals, but i think the first was from khairul amri and the second was from noh alam shah. could be wrong though!
anyway indra sahdan was disappointing in the match. other than the assist for the second goal, he really didn't do much and didn't fight for the ball. he seemed exhausted and even in the first half he looked tired. lionel lewis was excellent, making a couple of flying saves. precious was imperious in defence, as was subramani.
it's just a pity that more people didn't go to watch the match. only the east and west galleries were packed, the north and south galleries were completely empty!
overall a great match. good play from the lions, though it must be said that a lack of bite in the final third from the iraqis helped us too.

Answer:

that's great... i nv heard singapore winning such games fer a long time already.

Answer:

and what's more, iraq is ranked 55th in the fifa rankings... that's 38 places above singapore! haha suck on that, saddam.

Answer:

hahahhaha!!

Answer:

The sacking of Goh Tat Chuan clouded the 2-0 result for me.

Answer:

yeah definitely. i cannot fathom why someone as committed to the national team as tc goh was booted out of the national team. i mean, come ON!!! he's one guy who's truly proud to wear the jersey man.

Answer:

i was suppose to go and cheer, but my squad had something to attend to.
erm, ya, i'm a cheerleader for SAFFC.
heard from my management that the crowd was good

Answer:

Spot on. It's ridiculous. And he isn't even off for some party, he was off to tend to his wife who felt uncomfortable. I think the FAS and Raddy went too far in this matter. Guess Singapore has lost our very own "Roy Keane".
Well done FAS and Raddy. Thank you both very much.

Answer:

good meh? not as much as i'd like it to be lah. not enough diehards.
anyway do you happen to know the cheerleaders today? one of them quite cute leh. hahaha...

Answer:

they are from young lions i think.

Answer:

hopefully raddy realises how stupid it was to have left him out of the team. yeah the team played well and coped without goh, but seriously man... it's heartening to see someone care as much about national pride as he does. do you really think mustafic fahruddin, as good as he may be, really gives a rat's ass about playing for singapore?

Answer:

ok next time you cheer at a singapore match tell me pls. i sure go. haha...

Answer:

take ur time to drool. haha

Answer:

this sunday, we're performing for the jalan b. stadium official opening. haha. u can come see all the cheerleader from other clubs too! starts at 6pm i think

Answer:

Well, what I can say is that the younger generation wouldn't carry as much national pride as Goh. That's 1 thing I can say for sure. Why was it that the other player was fined $500, and Goh was sacked? I don't see any logic.
Eh. Cheerleading quite cool leh. Some of them quite cute. Haha! Distraction lah! See until miss the goals scored!

Answer:

got match anot? if no match then no thanks. haha...

Answer:

definitely. you can see how fiercely proud he is whenever he turns out for the lions. like i said, i just hope raddy and the fas come to their senses.
yah lah! i missed a few iraqi near-misses man. haha...

Answer:

Answer:
