no use putting Terry/Sol/King together, they all share the same style, all can head the ball. Ferdinand has got pace and better ball control, so its wiser to use partner him with Terry for obvious reasons.
Smith was thrown there because of his performance against Chelsea, and my biasness =p. Carrick and Parker because they are doign quite well for their clubs.
The rest are pretty much...logic lar..maybe drop Gerrard once or twice for a left winger like Richardson or J.Cole

so i put Rooney and SWP
Parker could do a very well job protecting back four
as goes to Gerrard and at the same time he could provide killer passes through center
as for striker, everyone knows Owen is the most clinical English striker
Ashley COle and G Neville can do decent defending and good @ supporting flank players upfront.
Carragher and Terry .. heart of defence.. driven and commanding
i forgot to mention GK.. he's none other than Robbo!
