aiyah, as a liverpool supporter, I never liked owen. Cuz i always got frustrated watching the team pump the balls to him... Not exciting; with Crouchy there is more open play... although there's still the pumping.
Personally, I think that Crouchy's quite a good buy for 7 mil. cuz he is definitely valued more now with him being consistently called up by england. I think that we really need a centreback and 2 right wingers and I'm dying to see how good this "speedy" Goncalez is when he comes in January.

best players? not really. Benitez and Mourinho dont really go for big names. They prefer hardworking with teamwork discipline players. That's why they can excel. 'If you don't listen to me, outta you go.' That's how both of them did to their players. Real Madrid sign all big names and end up empty handed. Bcos they have no teamwork discipline.

Haha yeah I'm not saying they go for big names. I meant you can get all the big names but still won't get results. You need god tacticians like Mourinho and Benitez to bring them together to play as effectuvely as a team.
As for Real Madrid..I think their players now are quite selfish, as it they go for individual glory, rather than as a team. And they have a brainless chairman well they're at it. No offence to Real Madrid fans but seriously they cannot challenge the likes of Barca for the La Liga title. The individual quality may be on par, if not even better, but Real will get their ass whipped in terms of TEAM quality.
All in all, we have to give it to both Mourinho and Benitez for doing such a good job both domestically and over in Europe! (CHampions League)
