Answer:

Manchester United announced their second summer signing today (Thursday 3 July) when Eric Djemba-Djemba was unveiled as the latest addition to Fergie's squad.
The 22-year-old box-to-box midfielder was born in Douala, Cameroon on 4 May 1981. A boyhood United fan, he was given the nickname Eric Cantona when he was growing up. He used to play as an attacker but he is now one of the world's most highly regarded young defensive midfielders.
Djemba-Djemba's abrasive style of play came through during his time with Nantes. In 2002/03, he picked up one red and 11 yellow cards. Not a player to shirk a challenge, it would seem!
Djemba-Djemba helped Nantes to reach the second group stage of the UEFA Champions League in 2001/02. His best performance in that campaign was in a surprise victory over Lazio.
The second group stage saw Djemba-Djemba pit his wits against Roy Keane, the man he's been tipped to succeed in the Reds midfield. The Cameroon star was said to be open-mouthed with awe at Keane's colossal performance at Old Trafford in February 2002 when United thrashed Nantes 5-1.
This summer, Djemba-Djemba was an integral part of Cameroon's Confederations Cup campaign, in which they did not concede a single goal until the final. (Even then, the winning goal they conceded was a Golden Goal - scored for France by Thierry Henry).

Answer:

Ronaldinho's brother and agent, Roberto Assis, says a move to take the Brazilian star to Old Trafford is still alive.
PSG claim to have turned down an undisclosed offer from United, but all is not lost according to Assis.
"We are very calm, talks are ongoing," he claims. "The player is not on the streets and he has proved his worth on the pitch so we will wait and see what happens.
And Assis fully expects United to table an improved offer for the talented Brazilian, who has also attracted attention from Real Madrid in recent weeks.
"I am certain Manchester United will make another bid. It is important that we let the clubs find a possible solution," said Assis.
