Question:
Several months ago, I was told by my pharmacist that Flovent Rotadisk
was no longer being manufactured. Since I have much better health when
I use the Rotadisk than when I use regular Flovent, I am bewildered,
to say the least. Does anyone know what happened? I can't find
anything online about this, but my doctor's office confirmed that it
is no longer available. Thanks. :?

GlaxoSmithKline has decided to phase out FLOVENT ROTADISK based on a careful assessment of the product's current manufacturing process needs, current low product volumes utilized, and the availability of alternative therapies for the treatment of asthma. GlaxoSmithKline began to exhaust supplies of the 3 strengths as early as September 2004.
