Thought I would post this as I was having a nosey on the net. It maybe of some use to people - I didn't realise this was the case myself!

Yes it's surprising how many things are toxic to dogs.

Yes my MIL found this out when her cocker spaniel ate the raisins out of the wild bird food, he was really ill, she couldn't understand why, then watched him, he kept going into the garden and eating all the bird feed from the floor picking out the raisins!

Thankfully he made a full recovery but it was pretty nasty for a while.

Noticed a few questions on this recently, and remembered I had posted this a long time ago - may be of some use to someone!

blimey grapes... who would have thought, my two used to pinch the grapes if i left them on the table they never had any ill effects from them, should i still get them checked over just incase even though they havent had any since way before xmas?

My MIL's dog got ill within 24 hours of eating them, so I'm sure your dogs are fine!

Lula pinched a fruit loaf the other day, and ate the whole bloody thing!!
She was a bit off for a day, threw up a couple of times, but was back to her usual self not long after....daft dog

my dogs have had raisins, selene my cocker pinched my fruit and nut chocolate bar and ate it all and she was fine lol
