got a 3 mnths old mini schnauzer here.. it keeps biting things.. even humans.. n its teeth are quite sharp.. i noe puppies luv to bite things.. n its normal but the prob is.. u scold it u spank the backside.. still wun listen.. but when u call it come or sit it listens to commands only the biting part.. any1 else experience this?

it happened to my pet dinosaur too, when he is only a few mths old.
lemme teach u how to overcome this.
when u spot him biting something or have already bitten something (e.g. ur shoe), shout his name in an angry tone, let him know that u r angry. catch hold of him, and bring him face-to-face wif the bitten shoe and continue in ur angry tone, tell him something like "cannot bite cannot bite" or any words u want. then spank him in his butt real hard.
but, dont spank wif ur hands! or else he'll be afraid of ur hands and run away if he sees u wanna carry him. use old newspaper (at least 10 sheets) and rolled it up into a 'whacko' bat, tied it wif rubberbands to keep it in shape. whack him wif that, real hard. dont worry, it will only cause pain, not injury. by using this, he'll be afraid of that newspaper 'whacko' bat, not ur hands.
after whacking, let go of him, not u or ur other family members shud sayang him or play wif him for the next 30 mins. leave him alone, make him feel unwanted.
after 30 mins is up, can resume sayang him, cuddle him, play wif him as normal.
repeat the same "punishment" for him if he ever bite ur stuffs again.
TIPS: dogs hate those 辣辣 smell, such as axe brand oil, chilli sauce, tabasco sauce, etc. best is get axe brand oil (doesnt leave stains and non-toxic to human and animals), apply a few drops onto things that u think ur dog will bite, e.g. cables, stool legs, shoe rack, etc... dont laugh, i know it sounded stupid but it works!

why not you try buying those dog bones from pet shop ?? My dog used to bit alot as well.. she likes to bite off the buttons from my husband long sleeve shirts especially !! But after giving her the bone, she seems to like the bone more then the buttons.. hopes this help !!

my mini schnauzer bit the cover off the plastic electric wire cover running along the wall of our place. then started biting the wires too. lucky she only got to bite a phone cable and my ethernet cable before i came home. otherwise she would be DEAD.
she is 10 months now and still bites stuff if left alone for too long. shoes especially. but she wont do it unless no-one is there to see

hahhaaa.. my dog also !! esp when nobody is at home and she got nothing to do or play with.. She will always get whack on her butt by my husband when she do this, but she still continues doing this.. And like I say when she is older, all these stunts slowly disappear...
