Sorry for the lack of creativity in the subject line...I had many pets since young and thought I'll share some interesting memories i have of them...please feel free to add in your stories too.
I had a terrapin once and it was approx. the size of my palm when it escaped from the basin which it called home. After a couple of days n we cldnt find it, we thought maybe it dropped into the drain and ended up somewhere else already.
A year or 2 later, my mum was doing some major cleaning when she made a discovery! She found this huge terrapin in our drain. It was bigger than my 2 hands put together. We have no idea whether this was the same terrapin that we lost...but it seemed to be the most logical explanation right? So we assume that its the same one and adopted it....unfortunately it died about a yr after we found it.
Till today I still wonder, hw did it survive on its own during its disappearance....the drain isnt v long (it's within our house compounds) n where did it get its food?

Another story....
My cousin had 2 hamsters and she loves to let them run all over the house. One thing though, they'll return to their cage once she has put food in the cage. But on this particular day, one hamster didnt return...weird....
To cut a long story short, a week or so later, the hamster was found by her maid....unfortunately dead. The so-called interesting bit was where it was found....apparently it got stuck behind a bookshelf standing up....and died like that....v sad story....sigh
