Which is why Dogs Trust, the UK's largest dog welfare charity, has launched the Canine Charter for Human Health to increase awareness of the health benefits of owning a dog. GPs, counsellors, therapists and anyone working with the improvement of health and wellbeing are invited to contact Dogs Trust on 020 7837 0006 to obtain copies of the Charter for display in their premises.
