I have a Brownie and fostering 2 puppies, Brandy and Kara.. all of them are our sg special~~ mongrels juz in case u all dunoe wat's sg special.
and me n my bf keep a shihtzu->BeBe, 2 bunnies and 2 hamham at his place..

i rescued my brownie at a carpark near Little India mrt station in May... one of her brothers was killed in a car accident and i decided to bring her home instead of having the chances of knocking down by car.
my wish now is to be able to get involve in the rescuing and rehoming of the needy dogs after i graduate, be it a mongrels or purebreed. frankly speaking, i love mongrels... hope no one here discriminate them...
And i'm going to fetch a handsome guy back on fri.. tat's Toro.. i think i'm going to name him tat... below is his pic.. he was found abandoned in a box at the void deck...

WoW thats good.. But frankly speaking, not much people willing to adopt stray dogs..
I even have seen a pure breed golden retriever loitering around my factory area.. When i got near to him, his fur and skin is in a very bad condition.. i fed him with some chicken meat..
I want to bring him back to my factory and give him a shower.But he refused.. From his eyes, i can see that he has lost all trust in humans.
So i let him be and whenever i saw him, i would fed him food hoping he will trust human back again.. But i have not seen him for the past 3 months le.. Maybe he has been adopted or maybe.... Haixxx

Ya lor.. The singapore goverment should do something about this stray dogs.. SPCA will only put those stray dogs to sleep.. They should find a quiet place like Lim Chu kang and built some fencing to prevent them from creating a road hazard to road user.. They are only killing innocent.. Lim chu kang has no lack of space.. Juz a small portion of the live firing area is enough for those dogs..Not to shoot those dogs of coz, but to let them roam freely and when its time to eat they eat.. Its time to die they die peacefully..
Some dogs mess up the rubbish bin to search for food, for some people, they say they are messing up the place. For me i think they are juz trying to fill their empty stomach.

haiz.... not only the mongrels are straying, juz like wat u've said, u've even see a GR loitering around. There're a number of abandoned case of purebreed each day, due to watever reason/excuses the owner have.
If any of you can help to foster, do let me know. Mongrels are sweet little things that need our love and care too. not juz pure breeds..

Went to the expo and saw alot of pure breed.. Some of them saw my friends dog is a X breed.. They are like looking down on that dog...
My friend's dog breed is the same as me.. But it looks like a pom.. ( Still dunno why) then there is this ger who ask my friend wad breed is that..
My friend answer her as Shintzu X maltese.. then she start laughing very loud and say YOU KNOW HOW TO VERIFY DOG'S BREED ORNOT???

Well maybe she reallly does not know about the dog background..But wadever it is she should not insult my friend lo.. She own a pure breed and said alot of rubbish about X breed.. Saying they are low class, dirty, etc..Really hate this time of so called high class people.. JRT is hyperactive.. so if u are not familiar with dog.. better dun get it.. coz lots of ppl abandoned their JRT due to the dog's stubborness and hyperactive characteristics..

Usually JRT not only hyperactive and stubborn too.. lots of ppl see it cute and from movie then got it, but as they dunoe how to train it, they abandoned them.
