Zouk's New Reno...

Question: hmm...was there yesterday, i give it 2 out of 5 stars. 1) the walkway to zouk became so much smaller. 2) phuture's slightly bigger, but there's so much lesser seats. 3) zouk's members bar is slightly bigger, but i hate the walkway thru the front porch...which can only fit 1-2 person...and the others have to squeeze pass. 4) velvet didn't change much, more like a facelift that's all. 5) winebar's seats are cut by 10%, the place's more utilised now, but still as small. 6) zouk's dance floor was slightly smaller. 7) zouk's men's toilet had the basins cut off(not sure about the women's one, but i know u'd definitely scream "PERVERT!" if i had mentioned it as well)...there's only one huge mirror in between the male and female toilet and one huge fountain basin. guess they wanna limit the number of pple in the toilets at one time? 8) they didn't improve the queueing part...the doors are not widen...and it felt so much smaller ytd especially when almost everyone outside was trying to make their way in, pulling strings, etc. conclusion: Significant changes are made only to Phuture and Zouk's toilet, apart from that, the rest are just face lifts. If you are an avid clubber, Zouk will no longer attract you. However, if you're new to the scene, Zouk would definetely be the place for you, or at least, for a while. Answers: I agree, and it really depends on why you're going. If you depends so much on people's hearsay, without really considering what and why do you go to a place, then everything will go stale in a while cause there's just no reason. I'm very sure for me and Tucksoon, that we go for the ambience, the atmosphere and for the music. Let's face it, until MOS comes, for us in the electronic music scene, no club has ever come close to even touching Zouk's feet. Centro was an eye-raiser, but couldn't substain. Even so when MOS comes in, we're not guranteed that it's gonna be up to standard. But for the sake of everyone, lets hope it lives up to the hype it generates. No use judging a club on how good it is before it has even opened it's doors right? Answers: but seriously speaking.. Zouk will be the number 1 club in Sg for years.. No Doubt abt it. Answers: mos. pffft. we need bedrock. Answers: doug nv mention the small area on top of the zouk entrance? its like even higher than the members bar.. wads tt? VVIP area? Answers: Err yea, it's something like the Member's Member's area. Trying to get that small aclove for my birthday Answers: tts pretty cool actually. very pte huh. yet u can watch the action 'downstairs' Answers: Yea, but it's the kinda place i can sorta imagine alot of touching and so on going on there too. It's like so private, even got your own 'private' bouncer at the entrance barring entry. more: Zouk reopening on this Friday 21 Oct zouk this coming... Zouk this SaT??
