Giraffe at Istana Park

Question: anybody dined at Giraffe before? limited choice of food but ambience is definitely commendable. tried the salmon with teriyaki sauce. very creative. steamed whole big piece of salmon, with mushroom [2-3types], carrots, toufu, and there was glass noodles as well. price is $22.00 i think. there's this other singaporean-styled laksa pasta. don't sound nice, but tasted not too bad still. however, i dont feel the 'laksa' at all. probably is cos i had less than a mouthful. not my food mah. lol. price is about $18.00 i think. overall, food's alright, but atmosphere nice. wonder as compared to Esplanade's Al Dante, where does Giraffe stands? those who tried both or least al dante, kindly feedback. heh. Answers: i went there too! With my friends that day and the bill came to a whopping 200 odd! but nice place they got there. Answers: wah 200 plus mind telling how many of u were there? Answers: about 5? Answers: hmm.. IMHO i think quite ok lar.. that means 1 person max abt 50 to 60 bucks lor.. if u had a main course, soda, prob appetizer.. i think quite ok for a date lar.. Answers: its a nice place to chill and bring your dates there. I would see myself there more often too. HAHA. Answers: sounds romantic.. Answers: not exactly romantic... but a pretty nice ambience. =) Answers: actually the name of the place sounds kindda cool too.. On first glance i thought somebody spotted a giraffe at the park! Answers: at first i thought my friends were bringing me to the zoo for some picnic or smth. seriously speaking. Answers: hehz.. ic. hope to go there see see look look, but duno on wad occasion.. *tinking of monthly anni.* Answers: i think just for a dinner would be nice also... no need occasion also can go what. ^^ Answers: What other nice stuff do they serve? erm.. care to name a few? or where i can get more information??? Answers: oh ya, is it a pub too?
