Muscle Spasms, Numbness, What's wrong??
Question:
It started a couple of months ago. Thought it was stress, maybe it is, I dunno. My back started twitching really badly. Not as bad as muscle spasms, not visible to the naked eye but all over my back individual strands of muscle/fiber/nerves started twitching.

It has gotten to the point now to where my sides, back, legs, arms, face and torso are in a CONSTANT state of twitching. It feels like someone is tickling me - all of the time!
Some of my symptoms include:

My hands are always shaking like a dang leaf

Individual parts of my body feel impossibly heavy

I can't think coherently

I've lost close to 25 lbs in 2 months

I can't sleep more than an hour at a time and normally go for a couple of days before exhaustion finally, mercifully kicks in

Nausea

Vomiting

Diahreaa (sp?)

I feel as if I'm going through life in a dream-state. Everything is HYPERsensitive

A few weeks ago I had a cold and since then, the cold went away but my head feels ... open. As if you took over-the-counter non drowsy cold medicine but I haven't done so. My head doesn't hurt at all but it feels like it's going to pop, like the sinuses are going to pop. Related? I dunno.

Constant (I mean constant, I can't even undo them when I concentrate!) tight muscles in my jaw, legs and back.

That's my symptoms that I can think of at the moment. You gotta understand that everything else is secondary to being tickled. It's like having a migraine. You can't stand having light in your eyes but your head exploding is your main problem.

I am on disability and can barely afford to pay rent (literally) so going to a doctor is out of the question. If I absolutely have to, I'll find a county doctor or something but I'd like to at least be able to have something to tell them other than I'm being tickled. I've been to the emergency room because I passed out from hyperventilation but they just gave me oxygen, an IV of glucose (?) and watched me for a few hours. No idea what is wrong.

If you have any idea what is wrong, please help. I have searched the internet but cannot figure out what in the world might be going on with me and I seriously don't know how much more of this I can take before absolutely going batty.

Answer:
You might be suffering from anxiety attacks. If that has been ruled out, then you really should see a Neurosurgeon for a good evaluation.

Answer:
When John D. Rockeffer's multi-million dollar Standard Oil Company of Ohio was not permitted to hold property outside of state, it began in 1872 to place properties or companies acquired elsewhere in trust, usually with Henry M. Flager's, company secretary. This became impractical, however, since the death of the trustee would endanger the trust. To get around this problem, in 1882 all of the thirty-seven stockholders in various Standard Oil enterprises conveyed their stock to nine trustees, getting "trust certificates" in return. Hey chrysannia, how are you doing?

In this post, I would like to show you one of the most common misconceptions between a common cold and the flu - the organ that most expresses the distress of the common cold is the nose, contrary to the flu, which comes on abruptly (with cold-like symptoms) with conciderable aches in the back, muscles, and and joints. In addition, I would like to show you how rest can aid in your recovery, thereby preventing life-threatening complications from arising (e.g. pneumonia or weakened by a chronic or debiliating ailment, as well as bronchitis, sinusitis, and inner ear infection).

Although no specfic treatment is available, and rest will deminish the intensity and duration, isolation is advised because because of the infectiousness of the disease. This includes avoiding crowds and never allow yourself to become overfatigued, making sure you get plenty of rest.

It is recommended by Randolph M. Chase, Jr., M.D., (immunologist), Director of Microbiology Laboratories, University Hospital in New York, that no person is cured until they no longer suffer from fatigue or weakness. Thus, bed rest and gradual return to full activity are advisable.

Antibiotics do not affect the course of uncomplicated influenza, nor is there any evidence they prevent complications. However, the anti-viral medication Zanamivir is provided as a dry powder that is administered by inhalation and has been approved for the treatment of uncomplicated acute influenza A or B in persons aged 7 years and older who have been symptomatic for no more than 2 days.

Nevertheless, adequate rest is recommended. Adopting a caregiver can relieve and soothe children's aches and pains with basic supportive care.

Drinking plenty of fluids (water and Pedialyte® Oral Electrolyte Maintenance Solution - commonly used as to rehydrate children) will also help prevent dehydration from gastrointestinal vomiting and diarrhea symptoms (intestinal flu). The IV of glucose and the Pedialyte should have some benefit to the ATP production associated with twitching and oxygen along with plenty of bed rest should minimumize prostration (collapse).

Best wishes,

The Prison Hospital

Prisoner: Look here, doctor! You've already removed my spleen, tonsils, adenoids, and one of my kidneys. I only came to see if you could get me out of this place!

Doctor: I am, bit by bit.
