chest problem

hi,
im a 19 yr old guy who used to be overweight. not really overweight but about 7-8 kilos overweight. over the last year, i have lost the weight through diet and exercise.
i do about 200 pushups everyday and i run 4 times a week for about half an hour. the results are quite good. i have gotten much leaner and my clothes have got loose.
but im still having problems with firming up my chest. my upper chest n middle chest is rock hard but my lower chest is soft. it also seems to stick out near the nipple area. there seems to be fat in that area that doesnt seem to lose through working out.
becoz of this problem, im very self-conscious. i dont wear fitting tshirts coz the chest might be too obvious.i dont like to take off my shirt infront of anyone and i rarely go to swimming pools or take part in any kind of sports activity which might require me to take my shirt off. (i don't know what activities but there might be some) its not like my chest is small too, its quite big so cant hide. im pretty big n tall(6ft1in).
im also enlisting in the army in oct. im pes a. im prob going to be in company of guys who r scary with big muscles. all the fit ones. i dont want to be the one who everyone make fun off.
i need to shape up my chest soon. any tips? coz the pushups, dips, stretches, runs etc all are not working. help!!

i think they are all not working becoz you never do it in proper form...
Form is very important in weights training, doing 8 strict forms dips is much better than doing 20 fark up dips. Don be pai seh to ask the gym instructor in the gym how to do the exercise correctly.
Just becoz you're doing the exercise, doesnt mean you're doing it correctly.

ok. i kind of get whats going on.
its the lower part of my chest that looks a bit off. my chest is quite hard except the lower part it points out a little. what are the exercises i must do to get it in more, u know to have that manly chest? any of these exercises i can do at home?
im going for NS in october. is the exercises during bmt help shape me up? some of my frens who went for NS quite overweight come back looking very lean. will NS help me?
ive also considered seeing a doc about my chest but im still embarassed abt the whole thing. coz its just weird that i cant seem to lose weight only in my chest area. but i want to try everything n keep the docs the last stop. thanks for all the help guys. really appreciate it.

Are you sure about the lower chest part to be fats first? Because usually we contract our chest, the lower chest won't show reaction because it would only work in a certain postion.
There is no way to lose fats in a particular body part naturally. You can only reduce overall body fats and slowly your chest fats would be gone.

err..does diamond push ups wif ur legs on top of sumthing.eg. a chair help?

You can try doing decline bench press plus a pull over. if u need to know what are the correct form of doing the 2 exercises, feel free to approach me. i bet bodybuilding.com has examples showing how to do those 2 sets.

i have got a similar problem to flying fish.
i run regularly. i do push ups. i used to be overweight but ran and lost all the weight. i have noticed that my entire body has become leaner except my lower chest. the upper pecs r hard but the lower pecs around the nipple stick out instead of curving in like a guys chest. i dont know if thats how my chest is supposed to look. from the front it doesnt look that obvious but when i turn to the side i can see them sticking out.
does anyone know how a fit guys chest should look? becoz i think im pretty fit but my chest looks whacked! i went to see a doctor about this but the doctor says there is no problem. i look at all the actors in tv n none of them have a chest similar to mine so i guess the problem lies with me somehow.
i recently searched the web about this and saw sites on gynecomastia(maybe this is what u might hav flying fish), its supposed to be male breast formation. maybe i shud see a plastic surgeon or somthing but i cant afford surgery. realli at a loss now.
wahts worse is that i enlist in the army end of the year n im posted to regular bmt with all the fit guys with regular chests. anybody got any ideas on how to make my chest look more like a mans??

seriously all the tips have been given. they r jus fats. it jus so happens that ppl like u 2 collects fats at your chest area. everyone is different with respect to this. for me all my fats appears at my tummy. jus keep on doin the cardio and pressing the weights.
