cutting?
for diets, must still eat up to 4 to 6 meals a day.
take more protein to minimise muscle loss.
take only grilled/steamed/baked foods.
more greens too.
don't forget to drink lotsa water. heh heh
and the fave: cardio.
also must train in the gym too. but when you're in the cutting phase of bodybuilding, you can't possibly lift the heaviest weight available. stick to about 60% to 70% of your 1RM.

There won't be any muscle loss unless you go through atrophy. That means for a long period of time you don't workout.
For diet, stick to your normal diet but try to reduce your carbs intake by a little. Keep to a very low fat diet.
Cardio is important for cutting, you would want to get rid of all those fats so you can see yer muscle shapes and lines.
For your workout, stick to 10-15reps for cutting, it would simulate muscle liquidity and promote defination.

but I cut down on fats & sugars
jogging & swimming

Answer:

It definately helps. Fats and sugars are the top killers, so reduce them to the minimum.
Jogging and swimming would help too, they are considered cardio exercises, which is capable of helping you get rid of bodyfats.
