Answer:

Its good that you want to improve and get better result.
first of all you need to reduce your weight. If you weigh lesser, you are lighter and will be able to jump further, run faster, of cos must be with trg. Then you can improve yr ippt result.
First is to cut down on the in take per meal. eat 3/4 of wat you usually eat, then cut down to have gradually. Dun skip meals. Have 3 proper meals.
Do long distance run will help you to reduce weight to, but remember to have enough water the nite b4. run at least half an hour. of cos you need to start maybe from 15mins run, run slow, but do not stop. then slowly increase the duration.
only thru consistent trg, then you can achieve what you want. wat i mean is dun do for 1 week n stop for the next 2 wks.
no one can help you, except yourself.. work hard man...

Answer:

yes.. i cant jump far too..but cutting down on the weight do helps as it lessen the toll your body is taking.

Answer:

cutting down on the weight do help abit la but i think the leg power plays a part too lor

Answer:

sometimes even the strongest fail IPPT
why?... wrong technique used....
I shld say... all the IPPT stations need certain technique to pass or get 5 pts even.
esp for SBJ = technique + leg power....
leg power alone does not help
2.4 also got technique....

Answer:

i tink largely based on the centre of gravity.. i nv had problems jumping maybe because i am a basketball player... technique is certainly impt.. and body weight does not really matter much in this case.. he is 89 kg and 177... but he has a respectable timing for his 2.4km.. i certainly do think not bad liaoz
