Hey peeps...any1 care to share how will jogging helps to condition the body....which part of the body ? Answer: Hey peeps...any1 care to share how will jogging helps to condition the body....which part of the body ? Answer: stamina and muscles. it actually tones most of ur muscles.. especially legs and arms Answer: so how does the pace of jogging affect the toning and rate of staminah? coz i cld jog for a longer distance when i am at a faster pace (well compare to most of my frens.. i am usually a good 100m ahead or more) but then when i jog at a slower pace... i cant jog as far, and i get tired easily -.-` Answer: i'm not very sure. but i tink is how ur body works? when ur body is used to long distance, u'll naturally perform better. thats why there a sprinter and long distance runner. Answer: it strengthens the heart and lungs. the leg muscles too. builds up stamina and burns fat all over your body. the best form of exercise IMO Answer: I agree with you.I think my pull-up improves after my jogging improves Answer: What kinda place best for jogging? Answer: wad is ur favourite ground? pavement? tar (road)? gravel? or beaten track? Answer: not really correct to think this way... most people try to improve on chin ups by concentrating on losing weight. they think that they can pull more by being lighter in weight. but doing cardiovascular/aerobic exercise such as jogging/running without properly resting and training up the muscles needed for chin ups can cause you to do less chin ups. why? because when you jog, your body burns up energy... and if you hit the gym or do intensive multiple sets of chin ups right after a jog, your muscles will break down but won't repair because your body doesn't have the energy to rebuild the muscles to be stronger. so if you jog today, only do chin ups the next day. and if you do chin ups today, only jog the next day. don't do both at once. Answer: I think swimmer betta than jogging ler.. Answer: Jogging tones up every part of your body. What pace you should be runing? You should be running at a pace where you still can talk comfortably for starters. If you want to strengen up your lungs/heart, I suggest fartleks. The difference is, for normal joggin, your heart pumps at the same rate. If you do fartleks, your heart you will pumpr harder. I won't go into detail how it works. By doing it for a few months, your max o2 intake should be higher. Get down to the track, sprint 100m, jog 100m, then sprint 100m, jog 100m, repeat this cycle for a few times. Answer: How joggin condition the body? Well it all goes down to the basic of aerobic and anaeorbic. When you jog slowly and your heart is pumping at 60% of your max heart rate, your body is on a aerobic exercise. Burns mostly fat and thats all. It is only effective if you are doing it for at least 30min. When you jog faster and your heart is working at 70%. You using 50% of your fats n 50% carbohydate (just trying to give a rough idea). It also condition your heart and tone your muscle. Try to jog for 20min at this rate to get a result. @ 80%, you are using mostly carbohydrate and also called anaerobic exercise. It really condition your heart, lungs and your muscles get exhausted very soon and thus breaks down your mucsle very fast also. So if you want to jog at this rate, it is best if you rest at least a day after it. Try what Extint has suggest, that is a very good way of doing anaerobic jogging while not exhasuting youselve too fast. Answer: so you are trying to say that at higher intensity, it's more of conditioning the heart and lungs and not burning fat? Answer: as far as I know, yes. At a 80% heart rate, your body burns glucose to create energy as it is faster compares to fats. The end product of creating energy using this is none other then lactic acid which makes one feel soreness after the exercise. So if you feel soreness in your leg after couple hours a jogging session, it means that you are working too hard and a lot of lactic acid have build up in your muscles. I shall not explain any further into the details or I will be writing a long essay. But be warn not to pump your heart to or even over 100% of your max heart rate as it is hazarduos Answer: what i know is to burn fats most effectively, jog slowly at a long duration. eg 60% to 70% intensity for at least 30 minutes. Answer: agree Answer: There are reports whereby if you wanna burn fats effectively, you can do lots of sprintings. One thing to remember is, when you do slow jogging, you are burning effectively as lon as you are jogging, once you stop, you don't any more calories anymore As for sprinting, you do not burn as much as when you are jogging, but the advantage is, it rases your metobloism rate for the whole day, meaning you are burning more after your workout for that day, which one is better? You decide :P Answer: slow jog for 30 minutes, then run intensively for another 20 minutes.. will it work? best of both worlds Answer: I see.Thanz for the advice maybe jio u jogging next time for outing lol Answer: i don't mind having a jogging kaki... but definitely not from ogk hahaha
