to gain weight, the principle is very simple: take more calories than u normally will.
I assume u want to gain muscle not fat (which defeats the purpose of gaining weight in the first place)
You cannot gain significant amounts of lean body mass by starving yourself. Your body will break down other tissues, including your muscles, to make up for the lack of dietary calories.
That said, it doesn't meanu should go out and grab 5 big macs and gobble them all at a go!
U should ensure u consume more omega fats, which the human body does not produce. Sources of omega fat include fish..
Consume those fast food in moderation if u cant help it.
U should strive to consume enough calories up to the point of 15% body fat if u r a normal office guy or 10% body fat if u r into weight training and stuff.

i'm damn skinny too.... last yr i was 57kg.... after stepping into gym and change my diet.... i got some good gains... now 62kg... not a lot... but still quite good without the aid of supplements.... for me.... the breakfast i eat 2 eggs, 3 teaspoon of horlicks into a cup of hot water and self made tuna melt sandwish.... then goes for my lunch in sch... go for mixed veg rice with meat ba... then late afternoon... got time go home make tuna melt sandwich and hoclicks again... then usual dinner.... supper is a must.... same again... tunamelt sandwich + hoclicks... total of 5 meals for me.... sometimes u will get sick of eatting the same thing over and over again... but i think tuna is very good for gaining mass...
then go gym workout 3 times a week....

simple theory; if calories intake is more than what your body can expend off, then u will gain, else it is vice versa. Weight training helps in brining your body to adapt to constant loads which require bigger muscles, therefore increase your body to consume more nutrients to support the environmental demands.
as what simplecloud has said; eat 6 small meals a day to supplement your high metabolic rate with good quality food. Not those Weight Gainers supplement. Containing more than 20g of sugar per serving, they are a waste of money plus u can replace it easily with natural food with better quality.

Eat lean meat and fish which has high protein. Never think that gaining weight means gaining fat. You can gain weight by gaining more muscle mass too..
And besides not all whey protein has lots of sugar- u can always ask the GNC pple or a private supplier to get one with less sugar. Not all whey protein supplements are bad...

Haha, u think we are Santa Claus izzit? Okie, even if you cant afford to have 6 small meals...u can still build up more protein by eating more lean meat during ur 3 main meals and drinking more milk before u sleep.

I know whey protein si bei ex one...so like wat pple said here- just increase ur protein intake for all 3 meals(tuna, salmon, lean beef, skinless chicken breast, lean pork) and more milk and eggs. Rem tho, don't deep fry the lean meat- otherwise no use.

And milk shd be slim fat milk. Whole milk is unnecessary. Just ask ur mum to buy milk and prob solved liao.

Can. I got a friend who has private supplier mah...tat supplier sells 2lb(small) and 5lb(big) size. It cost abt $40 for e 2lb one...$50 to $60 for the 5lb one..quite cheap liao.

GNC sells small one for 60 and big one for $100+....even more ex!
Oh ya rgding the tuna- no need to put mayo on it...just eat straight frm the can or put it in whole grain bread. It's gd enuff liao. I dun recommend mayo coz it has too much unhealthy fat in the sauce.
