Answer:

Have you heard of the Honey Diet? It allows you to
burn fat while you sleep
. You won’t believe how easy it is…
The
Honey diet
is very simple – take two teaspoons of honey before you go to bed.
This way your body will burn more fat for the first four hours of sleep, compared to exercising, for example.
The developer of the diet is Mike McInnes, a Scottish pharmacist, who discovered that the athletes eating foods rich in fructose (such as dried fruits and honey) burnt more fat and had increased stamina.
In order to enjoy the benefits of honey for fat loss and to have increased body energy,
you should combine the two teaspoons of honey with at least 3 times a week fitness exercising.
The nutritional ideas of Mike McInnes behind the Honey diet are based on the principle that the honey is the fuel that makes your liver produce glucose. The glucose keeps your brain sugar levels high and allows it to release fat burning hormones.

Answer:

The liver performs several roles in
:

  • (the formation of
    from certain
    ,
    or
    )

  • (the formation of glucose from
    )

  • (the formation of glycogen from glucose)
  • The breakdown of
    and other
  • The liver is responsible for the mainstay of protein metabolism.

Answer:

i think the statement that "honey is the fuel that makes your liver produce glucose" is pretty sweeping. honey is 38% fructose and 31% glucose.
Fructose
(or
levulose
) is a simple
(
) found in many foods and one of the three most important
along with
and
.
; tree fruits; berries; melons; and some root vegetables, such as beets, sweet potatoes, parsnips and onions, contain fructose, usually in combination with
and
.

Answer:

in any case i dun suppose there's any harm trying but remember honey is an addition to daily caloric intake and the key words in the article was "
you should combine the two teaspoons of honey with at least 3 times a week fitness exercising."
and i could not find any information on exactly how much higher would body metabolism be after the intake of honey.

Answer:

wow, thanks astaroth for the informations. This motivate me to buy the honey and try it out after my exam!!! But there's so many kinds of honey in the market?

Answer:

slim 10........

Answer:

wot i read was raw honey is good. but i dun think the type of honey makes a difference. the main issue here is the sugar in the honey.

Answer:

I drank honey drink on alternate days. I must agree that it is quite tasty and non-fattening drink unlike soft drinks.
