how to improve in chin ups?

erm, i am currently 0 chin up.. when i go bar pull i can't even flex my arm.. it's totally straight even if i pull.. so if i go hang on the bar and pull, will it help also?
btw, undergraph good or overgraph good? i'm quite a heavy guy btw..

cannot do one pull up how to do one diamond push up sia.
just do like 20 push ups a day . and go to the bar and try to pull as hard as you can . or just hang there if u cant pull .
guarantee after 3weeks can do 1 what . that's hwo i started .

before u start .. ask yourself which way do u like to hold onto the bar ?? plam facing down or up
palm facing up also known as under grip uses more muscles group on the biceps, forearms, back and shoulder and etc ..
plam facing down also known as over grip uses muscles on lat(wing) shoulder, back and shoulder , forearm and etc ..
then u should train accordingly , but i would advise u to use over grip.
Doing normal , diamond and 'spiders' push up is the best way to train up without going to the gymn. Do all 3 types ( 1set) before every meals and do them for 3 sets .. remember to do a little stretching b4 starting, try to increase the amount in per sets or on every day basis .. can also try doing normal push up but with feet slightly elevated.
at the Gymn - can concentrate on lats pull down and shoulder press ..
When facing the bar .. although u cannot pull ani ..but u need to jump onto the bar and grip it and hold it there. Always try to pull to the max where u feel the shit is coming out and hold it there .. tis is to train your fingers and forearms .. do mani times ..
U may want to kick to help u in pulling up but although is the WRONG way of doing it .. it can actually help u to boast your morale and BREAK your ZERO barrier. Once u Break your ZERO barrier .. there is nothing u cannot do ..
So stop surfing and get your ass off from here ..

Other then the push ups workout to trian urself, get a friend and go to the pull up bar then as u try to pull urself up, ur friend hold ur legs and support u go up, but u must u strength to pull lahz.. Will have effect one..

are you doing it with your palm facing towards you or away from you? If you do it facing towards you, most of the load is on the biceps and i find this easier.. when you palm faces away from you, you are using your deltas(back) which i find somewhat harder.. at the begining of this year, i could do zeor pullups.. everyday at home, i would use the frame of my door, try to pull myself up.. first i started with a little boost with my feet.. but over time, i became less dependant on them and now i can do a comfortable 8.. the most i ever did was 11.. besides, i work out bout 3 times a week besides those..
