Post your diet plan
Question:
Hey guys, I'm going to set up a strict cutting diet plan. Haven't executed it yet, finalizing some details with the experts at bodybuilding.com. Let's see the rest of you guys' diet plans
I've been lifting for a while since the start of last year, but never had a fixed plan. It's been alternating in food, and I'm guilty that I've cheated for a period (pringles, Mamee, mr potato crisps etc)

Answer:

have u calculated the total caloric intake? it looks slightly high.

Answer:

dunneed to torture urself with such a strict diet la. discipline is good, but try not to set everything in stone.

Answer:

how true..
u preparing for contest? photoshoot? Or juz meeting an ex gf?
if your answer is none of the above how long do u plan to stick strictly to whatever diet u have devised? 1 week? 1 month? 1 year? 10 years?
Its gd that u have set out to follow a healthy diet and probably a training regime as well.
but i think it will really be more realistic to be more conscious of your calorie intake in general rather than to follow any one diet plan.
Just my 2 cents worth!

Answer:

Nah, I'm actually enjoying myself. I like chicken. I try to put all my favourite food into my menu. Before, my diet was made up of oats and soya bean milk. I have to admit, the oats were mental endurance runs lol, even though they taste good after being microwaved, but as a staple diet, it kind of sucks
So what I do now is, I try to find out as much info on food as possible, and put it into my timetable. That way, I can maximise my gains and at the same time enjoy too
Ya I am looking out after my calorie intake. I can consume about 1800-2000 calories in a day, but a bit more doesn't hurt
It sounds very bland and boring, but I try to make things exciting. For example, I use different sauces on my chicken and tuna. In fact, I've got a couple of recipes to share
Tuna is a drag to eat, esp when eaten in cans of brine, so I buy those in olive oil. First, I get good fats, and secondly, the tuna tastes smoother and creamier. Then, I add it to my dinner with some mustard or bbq sauce. It tastes awesome when added to your rice
Same with chicken. I went to experiment with different sauces that I bought from NTUC and it tastes great with sweet sour sauce or black pepper sauce. Or maybe it's just my preference
I'm going to try out a new recipe tmr, when I can come home earlier. I'm going to marinate my chicken breasts in flour and bbq sauce, and add some muesli on to it. I read somewhere that oats are a good replacement for breadcrumbs, but since I don't have oats, I'm going to try muesli
Thanks for the concern guys. I know where you're coming from, after torturing myself with tuna and milk lol. I'm going to live healthy and whet my tastebuds too, and see how it goes. As far as I know, what I eat now shouldn't exceed 2300 calories
-edit-
Wowee: nah, it's just self love. I've always wanted to view myself in the mirror with 2 nice pecs and 6 lovely abs lol

Answer:

UDM. good luck, it definitely takes more than just discipline to eat boiled chicken ti.ts everyday...regardless of the sauces hahaha.
determination just has my respect.

Answer:

i think u have a great concept on your diet!

Kudos to u mate! I am sure with determination and focus u will achieve your goal!

Answer:

Yeah, since I'm going NS next year, I might as well just train and rev up. It just makes me feel good when I stick to my diet plan, and workout, and the best part is, I am seeing results
