does frog jump improve how high we jump?

any1 noe if frog jump improve how hihg we jump?and also i seen some people can stay on air 1...tt 1 need to do wad exercise to improve the time we stay on air?

May not.
Now the thing is this, for an exercise to work, it must be specific. Do u squat all the way down to jump normally? No. So the part of the exercise (frog jump), in the outer range (knee bend <90 degrees) most probably would not contribute to ur jumping height.
Maybe u can try plyometrics. In gymnastics, plyometrics is used extensively.

Stand in front of a basketball net and jump up to touch the rim (or net if you can't reach) and immediatly upon touching the ground again jump back up. You want to spend as little time on the ground as possible. Do three sets of twelve. If you don't have a basketball net on hand then use any other similar object in size.
Box Jumps
Start on an object anywhere from 15-18 inches off the ground. Jump forward off the object and upon making contact with the ground jump instantly forward. Get back on the object and repeat. I recommend having the object being very sturdy and something that won't slip out when you jump.
Side jumps
On one foot jump left and right over a small object like a cone. Make sure the object is breakaway so that you won't sprain your ankle if you land on it.
Triple jumps
First you stand up straight and jump. Land on one foot, immediately hop and land on that same foot, hop again and land on both feet. Last upon impact, just jump and land. It goes- one foot, one foot two feet.
Stars
You jump into the air and spread your arms and legs out so that you resemble a star.
High jumps
Bend your knees so that they are between a sitting and standing position. As soon as you land Jump back up as high as possible.
Ground touches
First you stand up straight with your hands hanging at your sides. Very slowly bend with your knees and let your arms hang loose. When your fingers touch the ground leap into the air as high and as quickly as possible. Please note that these aren't very easy so only players 13 and older should do these.
Toe Jumps
Stand on your toes and jump as high as you can (which won't be very high). It will look like you are just hopping on your toes. There are two ways to do this, one way is th bend your knees and the other is to keep your legs straight.
No Arm Jumps
Bend your knees so that they are between a sitting and standing position. Place your hands on your head and keep them there. As soon as you land Jump back up as high as possible.

Dunking is not as ez as it seems... ppl normally dunk at the height of 187 and above..
and the rim is 10 foot.. (standard height) which is abt 3m
And to dunk.. u muz have your whole palm above the rim.

i heard something like double jump ?
where like a person jumps a sencond time in mid air... esp for hanging and dunking...
from wot i heard la, there is use of abs muscle to help spring u for the "second jump" in mid air which is wot this "double jump" is about..
wonder if anyone can rectify it ??
