question about shake
Question:
I'm wondering how come my shake is quite watery. Today is the second time I tried it out. I have one scoop heaped into my shaker, and added about 8 oz of water, but it's still a little watery. Is my problem here too much water or too little water?
Also, does whey go well with soya bean milk?

try whey with milk... but add a little bit of water... else too thick..
but dun try with soya la... whey itself very sweet liao... still add soya... lol

Answer:

ok cool thanks for the advice

Answer:

Is doesnt really matter how much water .. if u find it too sweet just add in abit more water. At the end of it .. is about the nutrition data.
And also if u want to whey to be absorb faster by your body, usually after training. Use only WATER add in 2tbs of glucose.
Or use skim MILK and soya mllk (zero sugar) with it .. This will act as a time release which is recommanded before sleep only.
Rgds

Answer:

Answer:

today i tried putting honey into my mix of whey and cereal. tasted not bad cos my whey is rather bland anyway, altho i think i added too much honey. i used to put sugar but today i did a search and found that refined white sugar is sucrose while honey contains mainly glucose. apparently glucose helps in the absorption of protein and creatine, not sucrose. so for an alternative to glucolin, there u have it, honey!

Answer:

Ya, you can add milk with your whey and add abit of water......
Or you can add oats in it
Or you can add xanthum gum it it to thicken

Answer:

well apparently my post was wrong... honey is fructose not glucose...

Answer:

no difference if its creamy or watery really. its still the same amount going into you. hell, i'd eat the powder
